O objetivo do encontro foi fortalecer a gestão territorial e ambiental das Terras Indígenas do Alto e Médio Rio Negro, e a aliança entre a Foirn e o Exército que realiza trabalho fundamental de apoio às populações rionegrinas, assim como de fiscalização desse vasto território do noroeste amazônico.
